About Us

Our Story

At Adel Care Services, our journey is deeply personal. Our team carries lived experience, having grown up in Sri Lanka during the height of the civil war, we witnessed firsthand the struggles of disability, displacement, and adversity. These experiences taught us resilience, empathy, and the importance of community.

When we arrived in Australia, we brought with us not only our professional skills but also a commitment to create something meaningful, a service where love and compassion are not just words, but the foundation of everything we do. We know what it feels like to face barriers and to long for dignity, independence, and acceptance. That understanding drives us to walk alongside every individual and family we support.

Today, Adel Care Services is more than an NDIS provider. We are a team united by purpose: breaking down barriers, unlocking abilities, and empowering people to live the life they deserve. Our story is one of resilience, compassion, and hope, and it continues with every person we have the privilege to support.

Our Philosophy of Care

At Adel Care Services, we believe that delivering quality care goes beyond fulfilling a job description. Above all else, love and compassion are the true drivers of meaningful support. This belief inspires us to serve with heart, humility, and purpose.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are part of our DNA. These lived experiences have shaped our empathy, resilience, and unwavering commitment to support people from all walks of life, especially those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.

We don’t just provide care. We build trust, nurture dignity, and create spaces where individuals feel seen, heard and valued.

Lived Experience at the Heart of Our Leadership

At Adel Care Services, our leadership brings more than professional expertise, we bring lived experience. Many of us have worked in the sector, volunteered in our communities, and cared for our own loved ones.
This personal connection means we truly understand the importance of human connection, feeling wanted, and being socially accepted. We know that care is not just about tasks. It’s about relationships, belonging, and dignity.
Our leadership is grounded in empathy, cultural understanding, and deep respect for every individual’s journey. This foundation guides the compassionate, person centred approach that defines every service we provide.
